Laser Liposotherapy
During a laser lipo session, laser light energy safely penetrates the skin and encourages cellular turnover. This process improves circulation, digestion enzymes, and lymphatic flow. It also promotes the production of collagen.
How long after laser lipo will I see results?
The number of sessions required will depend on the size of the area being treated. It usually takes about six weeks for the full effects of laser lipolysis to become apparent.
Patients are encouraged to take a break from eating for three hours following a laser lipo treatment. They are also encouraged to drink plenty of water and complete light lymphatic stimulation by walking for fifteen minutes a day.
The procedure is a minimally invasive way to reduce fat, and is less painful than surgery. It is often used to remove fat from the hips, waist, thighs, and sides. However, it can be used on almost any area of the body.
Before a laser lipo session, a physician will perform an evaluation to determine areas of the body that need to be targeted. He will also assess your current health and your overall health status. He will then develop a customized plan for you. The first laser lipo session is usually 30 minutes.
Afterward, patients are advised to wear a compression garment for up to three days to assist in the healing process. If complications occur, the patient may be required to use the garment for additional recovery time.
During the treatment, the laser will remove excess fat from the targeted area. It is not uncommon for some people to experience some swelling and soreness in the treatment area. The pain and soreness usually subside after a few days.
